The Anatomy of Sports Car Club of America
The Anatomy of Sports Car Club of America: The Sports Car Club of America or SCCA is a legitimate organization where the best and best sports cars can be found. Contrary to the most popular belief, the Sports Car Club of America is not an exclusive organization. This is not only for the elite or for those who can afford a sports car. It's just a club that primarily functions as both a non-profit sports car fan organization and a "sanctioning body" that sponsors autocross, rallies and street racing in the country.

Today, SCCA boasts more than 65,000 active members, ranging from professionals to amateurs and even those who cannot resist the power and appeal of sports car magnets. With this large number of members, SCCA is now recognized as the "most active participation organization" in the world of "motor sports".
Every year, SCCA holds more than 2,000 professional motorbike events and is intended for amateurs. Basic programs or events are as follows:
1. Solo
This special SCCA program is related to the autocross program. In this event, only one car was allowed to run along the path arranged with many "traffic cones."
2. Race Club
This is the category of "street racing". This event is where sports cars race against each other either on temporary street circuits or on race tracks. Its annual club racing championship for the national division is known as "Runoff."
3. Road Rallies
This is a different rally because the competition is not based on speed but on actual navigation and the accuracy of the race.
This SCCA event is usually open to the public and races are usually run on public roads. Basically, SCCA has 110 regional branches that are widely distributed in the United States. Each chapter has their own racing and championship events. They also have their own rules and regulations regarding licensing, membership, member benefits, and insurance.
These regional chapters are all patterned to the rules of club administration. These rules are coordinated and managed by the CEO and SCCA President Steve Johnson. With all these extraordinary qualities, SCCA is definitely one of the clubs that deserves recognition. This is one of the most famous clubs in the world of sports car racing.
